Smith Lake is large man made lake in north Alabama and claimed to be the 3rd cleanest man made lake in the US. The lake has over 600 miles of shore line with all it's many fingers. It is also pretty deep, with some areas at just over 250 feet. Great fishing as well with many species to include: hybrid striped bass, pan fish, large and small mouth bass. I try and get out early in the morning when the boat traffic is minimal. Hope you enjoy.
