Only a mile from the heart of downtown historic Nevada City, Hirschman Trail, partially constructed by the Bear Yuba Land Trust, gets you quickly out into nature with lots of different things to enjoy. The centerpiece is lovely Hirschman’s Pond, named after the Hirschman brothers who were pioneer miners and merchants of the area. This recording starts from Indian Flat Trailhead.
