Beschrijving

This ride starts near the hamlet of Amen in Drenthe. From hear we head towards the Forrests. After a few kilometers we will cycle towards the former German transit camp Westerbork. From here more than 100.000 Dutch Jews were deported to concentration camps further east. Now it is a memorial as well as the site for the Dutch national radioteloscope (ASTRON). Next we head towards Hoog- and Laaghalen and the Hijkerveld. A nice mix of forests and fields. Filmed on a recumbent bike.
