Polmont to Grangemouth
This is a short ride from Polmont to Grangemouth mostly along public roads but latterly along National Cycle Route 76. Polmont is a small commuter town to the East of my home town of Falkirk and lies to the South of the larger industrial town and port of Grangemouth. The initial part of the ride is mostly downhill on pubic roads. Grangemouth itself lies at sea level beside the river Forth and therefore all the cycle paths are on the level making cycling very popular in the town.
