I am a senior athlete based in northern Colorado, passionate about a wide range of outdoor activities. My primary focus is paddling - kayaking, canoeing, SUP, and packrafting - including long-distance endurance races such as the Texas Water Safari, WaterTribe Challenges, and the Missouri River 340. Biking is my second love, along with hiking and inline skating. A year ago, I embraced rowing with a Liteboat coastal shell and have been enjoying this new challenge.
I am a retired atmospheric scientist and an active, working photographer.

I've completed the MR340 13 times starting with the inaugural race in 2006. I've paddled the 2025 MR340 in my Sea Wind expedition canoe shooting a lot of POV footage.
