Nous partons du centre historique de Martigny (490m) pour faire la longue ascention (1043m en 13km) du Col de la Forclaz (1533m). La route est bonne, la pente régulière. Puis nous plongeons sur Trient et continuons la descente jusqu'au Châtelard à la frontière franco-suisse.
