Bike. 17 km. Summer. Italy - Tuscany. Cecina Valley - San Dalmazio. 41 mins. Sunny. First Split of a bike workout on the sunny hills of Tuscany, Italy. Starting in the southern part of the province of Pisa, near Volterra, close to the city of Pomarance. Steep downhill to the lowest point, near the crossing of the Cecina river at 87 m. Then heading west, through the valley of the Cecina river. After approx 6 km. starting to climb the hills (at max. 422 m.) north of the borgo of San Dalmazio. After a steep descent on a MTB trail this segment ends in San Dalmazio. Fields, woods, hills and lots of sun. With distance- and altitudemarkers (and some information about the area).
