Welcome to one of the most iconic and dreamed-of places for runners all around the world — Central Park, right in the heart of New York City. Today, we’ll explore its southern section, where nature, art, and skyline views come together in a unique running experience. We begin this session on Fifth Avenue, entering Central Park just north of its busy shopping energy. We’ll pass the Apple Store on Fifth, then move toward Gapstow Bridge, stepping into the green heart of the city. From there, we head to the Dairy Visitor Center, the charming Victorian cottage built in 1870, originally providing fresh milk to families and now serving as a visitor center and gift shop. Afterwards, we’ll climb up on one of the grand rocks for skyline views, then run “The Mall” toward Bethesda Terrace and Fountain. Next, “Alice in Wonderland” statue and the Hans Christian Andersen statue await in whimsical corners of the park. Then we’ll cross Bow Bridge — a beautifully arched cast-iron landmark built in 1862, offering stunning views over the lake. Once we leave the lake, we'll wander paths feeling like a hidden forest, reach Belvedere Castle for panoramic park views, pass the Delacorte Theater, and finally approach Cleopatra’s Needle, where our session ends. Hope you enjoy the blend of city, nature, and timeless paths — every corner in this route tells a little story.
