開成町は神奈川県西部に位置し、東日本で面積が一番小さな町です。
町の東には酒匂川が流れ、西に箱根外輪山、南に相模湾、北に丹沢山塊を望み、豊かな自然に恵まれています。
町の花であるあじさいは水田地帯の農道・水路沿いに約5,000株植えられ、毎年20万人の観光客が訪れます。
Kaisei Town is located in western Kanagawa Prefecture and is the smallest town in eastern Japan.
The town is blessed with nature, with the Sakawa River flowing in the east, the Hakone Outer Rim Mountains in the west, Sagami Bay in the south, and the Tanzawa massif in the north.
About 5,000 hydrangeas, the official town flower, are planted along farm roads and waterways in the paddy field area, attracting 200,000 tourists every year.
