You chose well! You will get to ride in the middle of incredible landscapes: Muir Woods National Monument, Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Mt Tamalpais State Park! Welcome to Marin County, a cycling paradise located North of San Francisco.
This very scenic ride will take you up 3 good climbs: Starting in Mill Valley, you will first ride on Shoreline Highway (part of the famous CA Highway 1) up to Panoramic Highway, then down to sea level, up to the Muir Beach Outlook, down to sea level again, and back to Mill Valley with a little climb up Muir Woods road to Panoramic Highway again.
