Description

This is a segment the Chief Ladiga trail starting at the Esom Hill Trailhead in Georgia, just over the Georgia-Alabama border and ending after going through the city of Piedmont.

The Chief Ladiga Trail is a 33-mile rail trail that stretches from the Alabama-Georgia state line to Anniston. It is on the same rail corridor as the Silver Comet Trail in Georgia.

The combined Chief Ladiga - Silver Comet trails provide a 90-mile corridor available for non-motorized travel from just west of Atlanta, Georgia to Anniston, Alabama.
