Sandy, dusty, hot and dry, but wonderful ποΈ! Today we hike along the unpaved road from Morondava to Belo sur Tsiribihina. In the Menabe region of western Madagascar π²π¬, this trail takes us directly through the so-called baobab avenue, one of Madagascar's landmarks ππΌ! Look forward to seeing these trees, which are up to 800 years old and are a remnant of tropical rainforests π³. We can't get lost, as we are soon joined by a strange dog who shows us the way πΆπΎ!
