Bike. 8 km. Summer. Italy - Tuscany. Ponteginori - Querceto. (Second Part of the Full Track Pomarance-Ponteginori-Querceto-Micciano). 26 mins. 7,8 km. Sunny. Second part of a larger bike workout on the hills and valleys of the Cecina and Trossa rivers in Southern Tuscany near Volterra. Starting in the village of Ponteginori, where the Trossa and Cecina rivers meet. From Ponteginori south, climbing through the farmland and forest to the borgo and castello of Querceto at 250 m. Climbing another 250 m. on a dirtroad through the forest. Then descending to the borgo of Micciano at 425 m. alt and then steep down to the valley of the Trossa at 100 m. alt. With distance- and altitudemarkers and some information on the surroundings.
