📌 History & Highlights Along the Route:

✅ Nævestadveien – Named after Nævestad Farm, a historically important estate that played a key role in local agriculture and forestry. The road connected farms and villages, supporting trade and transport in earlier times.

✅ Laget – This small village was historically a boating and trading hub, where farmers and merchants gathered to exchange goods before roads became the primary transport routes.

✅ Lagveien – Once a key road linking Tvedestrand with coastal communities, Lagveien follows old travel paths used by fishermen and farmers for centuries.

✅ Dypvågveien – Leading towards Dypvåg, a historic coastal village with deep maritime roots. Dypvåg Church, dating back to the 13th century, is a landmark of the area.

✅ Størdalsvannet (Frozen Lake) – This serene lake, often covered in ice during winter, has been a vital part of the region’s ecosystem and local fishing traditions.
