This is the third of three segments riding on the Route of the Hiawatha Rail Trail.
The Route of the Hiawatha is 15 miles long and passes through 10 tunnels and 7 very-high trestles. It is one of the "crown jewels" of US Rail Trails and is in the Rail Trail Hall of Fame.
There were a number of forest fires raging in the region on this day, hence the hazy horizons.
