Description
This is a delightful ride to the start of Great Dun Fell and then the Climb itself upto (so i`m told) the highest Paved road in England for bikes only at 2900ft. Its one tough climb, ive done it twice and both times questioned why on earth i`m doing it. No doubt i`ll be back again to suffer all over again ! The Climb Stats ..... Length – 4.5 miles Vertical ascent – 632 m Average gradient – 9% Max gradient – 20% Height at top – 2,900 ft / 835 metres Category of climb – 2 KOM time: 25:03 – 10.2mph
