The first footbridge, at Canford school, is a full scale suspension bridge built over 100 years ago!
Canford School is one of the UKs top independent coeducational senior full boarding schools and one of the wealthiest. We first go past their rowing boathouse and stretch of river (The river Stour). After the stone bridge its a SUP along very reedy shallow river to Eyebridge the hard way - against the flow.
