Cape Kaliakra is a picturesque rocky massif cutting into the sea, bordered on all sides by red-colored rocky shores, the height of which in some places reaches 70 meters. Everything here literally breathes history. From the 4th century BC, fortresses were built here, repeatedly rebuilt by the Byzantines. In the 14th century, the Bulgarian boyars built a powerful Klaserka fortress here, the ruins of which can be seen to this day.
This is our second visit to this beautiful place, this time in summer.
