Schans d'Oudaen is a historical fortification located in Antwerp, Belgium. Constructed around 1907-1908, it was part of Antwerp's main defense line on the right bank of the Scheldt River. The schans played a crucial role in the city's defense during World War I. Today, it's a protected nature reserve and a testament to Antwerp's rich military history. Although the schans itself is not accessible to the public, its surrounding area offers beautiful walking trails and a glimpse into the region's past.
