Ride Through Sculpture Park & Historic Boat Locks

This is part 2 of our three-part scenic cycling series through Telemark!
We begin at Vrangfoss lock, the largest of the canal’s five lock chambers—an engineering gem with five consecutive locks and a dramatic elevation change. From there, we cruise through a local sculpture park, adding artistic flair to your workout, and pass Eidsfoss lock before reaching the charming town of Ulefoss.

We make a short visit to Ulefoss Farm (Ulefoss Hovedgaard), one of Norway’s oldest manor houses, then follow the riverside back toward Lunde, under sunny skies and with smooth pedaling vibes.
