Strengenvegen 50, 3825 Lunde, Norway
Vrangfossvegen 164, 3825 Lunde, Norway
Welcome to part 1 of our scenic biking journey!
We start in Lunde, a small village by the Telemark Canal, and follow the Straumen River, winding past the historic Hogga lock (Hogga sluse)—a part of Norway’s famous canal system dating back to the 19th century.
The route takes us through peaceful forest trails, shifting between asphalt and gravel roads. But stay alert—at 7:13, we have a surprising encounter with a snake guarding a bridge (yes, really!). It’s a ride full of lush greenery, sunshine, and a hint of adrenaline.
👉 This workout is the first of a three-part adventure. Keep up the momentum with part 2: Ride Through Sculpture Park & Historic Boat Locks
