The Round Mountain loop offers fun single track trails that go up and over Round Mountain and down to the South Yuba river. This was filmed in the afternoon, after it had been raining the previous night and morning.
Purdon Crossing: The elegant truss bridge at Purdon Crossing (1895) has a unique half trough design which makes this the only bridge of its kind in California. It is only one lane with a severe load limit because of deterioration.
There are plenty of other fun mtb rides in the Grass Valley - Nevada City area.
