Ride the headwaters of the mighty Tallulah River. Climb through the sub-tropical rainforest of Northeast Georgia ending at the ultra rural and self sufficient community of Tate City, Population +/-51 . This mountain creek continues and grows to carve the Tallulah Gorge and downstream becomes the Savannah River after the confluence with the Seneca River at Lake Hartwell.
