Grose-Clett to An t-Òb
The Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland is magical for cycling. There are really only two roads through the island and they could not be more different. The East coast road is the quietest road and the hilliest with a rocky and barren landscape. The West coast road however is the most popular (with both tourists and cyclists alike) as it takes you past all the iconic beaches (Luskintyre, Seilebost, Horgabost, Scarista and Borve) with their golden sands and gorgeous blue-green waters. This is the road that this video covers.
Most of the ride on this side is downhill and there are more two-lane carriageways which makes the ride a bit easier. If you wanted to do the complete circle of the Isle of Harris and do the East coast road too (no beaches though) that video is here.
