Valleikanaal from Leusden to Scherpenzeel
The Valleikanaal is a channel of approximately 40 km in the Dutch provinces of Utrecht and Gelderland.
The name is derived from the Gelderse Vallei, through which the canal flows in a northerly direction.
The purpose of the canal is to drain the same valley and therefore prevent flooding.
