The San Bernardino Pass starting from Lostallo is a very long and hard climb. This route, from Mesocco, don't follow the main road but the iconic and agricultural road till Pian San Giacomo. No doubt, this is a epic climb that has already been tackled several times at the "Tour de Suisse" and the "Giro d'italia". Last one on the edition 2021 from the Giro, with departure in Verbania and arrival in Alpe Motta (with the most part of the route on Swiss territory).
