This ride follows a paved bike trail through St. George, Utah and surrounding towns, running along the Santa Clara and Virgin Rivers. Views are sometimes of the city, and other times of fields, riverside habitats, and interesting rock formations. This ride was recorded on a day with overcast skies and occasional light rain--not a common occurrence in this area. But, when you're traveling to ride, you make due with the weather you're given. And, the muted light from the overcast conditions actually does make some of the rock colors pop a little more. To do a longer, out-and back ride, follow this ride with my Virgin River North & Santa Clara Trails ride.
