Description

My favorite part in this ride is the singletrack section with overgrown Manzanitas that turn the trail into a natural tunnel. Manzanitas are famous for their orange to red smooth bark, and the unique and often twisted shapes that they grow into. They are very typical of the foothills of the Sierra Nevada in Northern California.

After a steep climb through the manzanitas you will enjoy a long flat section along the irrigation ditches and finish the ride with a fast downhill. Enjoy a beautiful ride to Excelsior Ditch Camp and Cement Hill Ditch trails with a mix of paved roads, gravel and single track.
