Description

Ptuj, a picturesque place overlooking an artificial lake on the river Drava/Drau, is the oldest recorded town in Slovenia. Explore the architecture and enjoy vistas from just under the castle above the town. (Unfortunately I was one hour too late to enter, but there was still a lot to see from the above.) Back in the down town, stride along the old streets and squares, glimpse into the church and pay an unexpected visit to the art gallery by the river, just one hour before the opening of the Klavdij Tutta exhibition (where I was permitted to keep filming and to publish it).
