We start this route on a bright, sunny morning in the pine-covered hills of Alhaurín el Grande. The air is fresh, the scents of the forest all around. Sadly, the first stretch takes us through an area affected by a wildfire in the summer of 2024 — a stark reminder of how quickly nature’s beauty can be scarred. The contrast between the burned land and the green pines that follow is striking... and moving. A powerful run through resilience and renewal.
