Kinneil on ice

I got a new action camera for Christmas and these next few videos are more about me testing out the various settings than necessarily great Kinomap training videos. I have faithfully used GoPro Hero action cameras for several years but after a number of failures where my GoPro would just stop recording without warning, losing me valuable footage, I decided I wanted to try something different. I'm still not convinced if I have been taken in by the hype or made the correct decision as yet but I purchased an Insta360 Ace Pro to replace it.

I am still trying out various settings and configurations and I am not yet convinced it's producing the same quality videos as my GoPro. One area that I have still to master is sound - it drops out from time to time and also produces some crackles that I haven't been able to eliminate. This video was filmed on a cold (-4°c) sunny day just as the sun was going down - so good light at the start, less so at the end. It was also extremely icy in places so my progress was slow and cautious.
