Leave the fortress and take a downhill walk towards the city... The fortress - nowadays known as Marko's Towers - was the last stronghold of Prince Marko (Slovene: Kraljevič Marko, Bosnian/ Croatian/ Serbian/ Montenegrin: Kraljević Marko, Macedonian: Kрaле Марко, Bulgarian: Крали Марко) - a complex historic, epic and legendary figure of the 14th century, even nowadays still well known to South Slavs from the Adriatic coast to the Black sea.
