Imagine a desert in the middle of Europe. This in itself is a miracle, but miracles are only just beginning. In this desert, right out of the sand, stone columns have sprung up, revealing a view you can't see anywhere else in the world. It turns out that the stones have no base, but are driven to a depth of 100 meters. They represent a forest of limestone pillars, some hollow, other dense. Scientists, so far, can not determine how they formed, there are several versions, but none is recognized as reliable.
