Description

La Victoria to Alcudia

So I'm just back from a short holiday in the Northern part of Mallorca. I've always wanted to try cycling there but despite many holidays in the area I've never managed to find the time to do so. However, this time I found I was staying just around the corner from a bike hire shop so arranged a few short rides in the middle of my holiday. I had a number of pre-planned routes but this short detour was recommended to me by the bike shop owner for the scenery - and he was certainly right. The views across the bay to Alcudia, Puerto Pollensa, and Formentor are stunning. This is the downhill section of the uphill route that is included in the first video below.

The rest of the route follows the coastline to C'an Picafort before turning inland to Sa Pobla and then back to Pollença. These videos are as below.
