Torphichen to Falkirk
The plan this day was a long ride through the hills to the South of the town of Linlithgow. However, I got hopelessly lost by ignoring my Garmin which was telling me I was heading South and East when I actually wanted to be travelling North and West! My navigational errors cost me around 20 kilometres of extra cycling and caused me to split the video into three sections - the middle section of which I've now decided not to upload as it's just me haring one way along a busy main road and then back again!
Having added all those additional kilometres I changed my plans and cut to the towpath along the Union Canal to get me home which is what you see here. Note that this ride crosses the Avon Viaduct which can only be walked and finally it passes through the Falkirk Tunnel which is both poorly lit and very slippery. I cycled the initial section then slipped and fell so walked the last part.
