Beschrijving

Starting from the old railway station of Chiusaforte this stage of the Alpe-Adria has now been fully opened in 2024. Whereas the old section used to join the road after the town of Resiutta, we now can cycle on the brand new dedicated section opened up in 2024 right through to Carnia. We cycle through the tunnels and along the converted railway path, enjoying elevated views of the river Fella (Fiume Fella), to Carnia, then onwards via Portis to the incredible walled town of Venzone.
