You will ride through the San Francisco Bay marshlands, in the Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge, on Shoreline trail, Alameda Creek trail, Pelican trail and Bayview trail. You will get to see vultures, herons, pelicans, egrets, and more as well as some incredible views! Get your camera ready! ;)
The San Francisco Bay has very unique and various ecosystems. The wetlands and marshlands have long been destroyed, used as dumping grounds or filled to build more real estate. They are now protected and being rehabilitated, a slow process, allowing for wildlife to thrive again!
