This ride begins on a bike path in Provo, Utah, following the river that runs through town, passing houses and city parks. ,In town, you'll pass through a couple of very narrow tunnels---too narrow for someone to pass going the other direction. So, make sure to yell "Coming through" while you ride through these tunnels. You don't want another cyclist or a runner to enter from the opposite side and cause a collision! After passing through Provo, you'll head up the trail into Provo Canyon with beautiful views of mountains and canyon foliage. This is the uphill version of my Provo River Trail - Vivian Park to Lakeshore Bridge ride, so for the whole out-and-back experience and a long workout, do that ride after this one back-to-back.
